Contemporary Plaster & Historic Home Renovation | Noe Valley, SF
See how AGD Builds transformed this historic Noe Valley residence using sculptural plaster details, bespoke walnut built-ins, an avant-garde tile island, and a moody, color-drenched bedroom.
Our team executed a full-scale structural and interior transformation of this historic San Francisco home, striking a deliberate balance between preserved architectural bones and cutting-edge, tactile design trends. Key construction features include:
Bespoke Venetian Plastering: Hand-applied plaster finishes across custom structural archways, integrated shelving, and a minimalist custom range hood.
Architectural Millwork & Built-ins: Premium flat-panel walnut cabinetry and a floating bathroom vanity featuring custom fluted wood texturing.
Monochromatic Tile Engineering: A contemporary kitchen island wrapped in a precise grid-patterned chocolate brown tile with seamless mitered edges.
Color-Drenched Interior Painting: A dramatic, moody primary suite utilizing the color-drenching technique (matching walls, trim, and ceiling) alongside a contrasting terracotta-toned living space.
Historic Bathroom Restoration: Structural reinforcement to support a vintage clawfoot soaking tub centerpiece framed by a plaster architectural alcove.
